Community Participation Minimize

As a locally-owned and operated business, Olympic Wi-Fi appreciates our great community and enjoys supporting area individuals, groups, and activities through donation of time and money.  We would like to share with you three Sequim organizations that Olympic Wi-Fi has recently supported.

E-77 Dream Weaver Minimize

Please welcome the very first hydroplane team in the Port Angeles/ Sequim area!

Dream Weaver is 5 liter V8 that has the capability of going 115 miles per hour on water. The owners of the 18 foot 1998 Jamie Auld are Garry & Tresa McCallister of Port Angeles, and Shane & Vicki Pratt of Sequim. Their driver Shane Pratt was awarded 1st place at Strait Thunder in 2007, naming him “Lighter – Than – Lights” champion. Only competing in two races last year he still had high enough marks to place 3rd in the National High Points for the 2007 “Lighter than Lights”.

Claws and Paws Minimize

The 3rd Annual Claws and Paws Golf Tournament:

The Humane Society was merely and idea of the ladies of the Port Angeles chapter of Soroptimist until 1947 when their idea became an actual project with its first donation of $25. The first shelter was built in 1949 at the corner of 16th and “D” street. Now the shelter sits comfortably on more than 2 acres on Highway 101.

The Claws and Paws Golf Tournament is a major fund-raising source for the benefit of the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society animals. The money from the registration costs and sponsorships provide care for the homeless animals of Clallam County.
